Description
Blinding white gypsum sand dunes glow under the New Mexican sun. The clouds bring a welcome relief to the desert dwellers below.
The nearly white sky is a curious backdrop to the brilliant white dunes of the White Sands National Monument, New Mexico, USA. My sensitive eyes could not bear to look upon the scene without protective sunglasses but my toes were happy in the cool sand.
