California Purple-striped jellies swim far from shore in the open waters of the Pacific off the California coast. This one was photographed at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
A vibrant jellyfish with delicate, translucent tentacles is floating gracefully against a deep blue background. The soft hues of pink and orange hues create a mesmerizing contrast with the backdrop.
