These shaggy, brown beasts roam all over Yellowstone National Park. There are so many grazing and walking through the park, one could almost believe American bison are common, but the opposite is true. Fortunately, their numbers are being managed so their populations are currently stable.

Nice shot KJ! Love all the messy details. So sharpe! Interestingly I have not been successful in shooting any bison the two times I went. But then I am not much of a wildlife photographer. Lol.
