Description
With crinkly, tissue-paper thin petals, the naturally white Iceland Poppy sways in the wind. It's radiant center hopes to catch the attention of a friendly pollinator.
The white Iceland poppy is native to the sub-polar regions of the northern hemisphere but, ironically, not to Iceland itself. They are easily found in a variety of brilliant colors but this white one really caught my attention. This image is a personal favorite - I hope you like it too.
