The Alaska Range is long chain of mountains stretching from the Aleutian Range through Denali National Park and Preserve and into Canada. As the snow melts, these amazing mountains become spotted and striped with white patches on dark soil. They are easily viewed from Polychrome Pass on the Denali Park road, Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska.

Snow patched mountains form a dramatic vista under a cloudy sky, displaying the rugged, untouched beauty of nature. The play of light and shadow across the slopes highlights the contours and texture of the mountain range.
