The curious, highly intelligent, and flexible Giant Pacific octopus (Enteroctopus dofleini) often changes it's texture to mimic its surroundings or express itself. This amazing, almost other-worldly creature near instantly changed color from nearly white to deep red as it interacted with guests at UC San Diego, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Birch Aquarium, San Diego.
