Description
Curling it's massive prehensile nose around a twiggy branch, this pachyderm helps itself to a treat.
This African Elephant serves as a wildlife ambassador at the San Diego Zoo, encouraging visitors to protect this giant species. How much does the job pay? Over 300 pounds of freshly prepared food every day, expert medical care, treats, toys, and frequent waste-removal included. No predators or infestations - pretty cushy life actually.
The largest, living land animal, the African Elephant (Loxodonta africana) is listed as Vulnerable. There are approximately 400,000 in the wild with poachers and habitat loss driving numbers even lower while wildlife preserves and zoos safeguard the species as best they can.

Thank you! I am especially fond of your "Spiritual Mindset" - it reminds me of myself when I was small.
