Where some rest, other’s rise; peace between species.

Cranes, ducks, geese, herons, egrets, coots, stilts, and many more wading, shore, and songbirds, vacation together in central California. Some are here all winter, others will continue south.

The refuge offers over 10,000 acres of managed lands to more than 100,000 water-loving birds.
