Periwinkle flowers have a wide variety of meanings. One of its earliest symbols is of immortality. However, in modern times these blossoms generally represent new friendship, fidelity in long term relationships and marriages, and spiritual harmony. This flower makes an ideal anniversary gift.
The dew on the flower is natural (I don't carry a spray bottle) and was photographed in the early morning hours in San Jose, California.
